Read on to know more.

Evil beings, and evil itself, can be easily explained using an analogy. There is only One Consciousness - the Hindu mythology named it Brahma but call it what you will, Conscious, Collective, Source - in the Universe and we are all its manifestations. This is all-powerful, benevolent, and pure Goodness. It is the highest vibration there is.

In our analogy, let us compare this pure Goodness to light, and evil to darkness. There is no such thing as darkness - it is merely a name given to the absence of light. Then it follows that evil is not an entity by itself - it is merely an absence of Goodness. So then everything evil can be explained in a straightforward manner. Sorrow is absence of happiness, violence is absence of peace, despair is absence of hope and so on.

So God - if you do believe in God, that is - did not create evil. God is pure Goodness, and evil is simply a state of its absence. Evil beings and evil entities are just low energy beings - they lack energy and positive vibrations.

When we feel low-spirited and drained, we resort to anger, violence, hatred, jealousy and other negative vibes. It is simply an absence of positive vibes, and merely thinking of the positivity can increase your positive vibration and help you cope.

When I feel frustrated with something, I try to remember it is just a lack of peace and acceptance, and try to bring it into myself. It usually works very well.

I hope my analogy of evil makes sense to you. Please leave a comment if you would like to discuss this. :) I would love to hear from you!

Peace,

Gayathri.

Charms of meditation - the knowledge within

Uncategorized

Like everyone else, I also have questions about the meaning and purpose of life, and my purpose in the Universe. Like everyone else, I seek answers.

I seek answers in many ways. I read related material, I discuss with other Spiritually-aware, high-vibration people (like my husband), I contemplate - but I get most of my "Aha!" moments when I meditate upon the question. The solution comes to me automatically, and when it does, it seems so clear and obvious that I wonder why I didn't see it rightaway.

Meditation can increase your vibration dramatically, and help you get in touch with your inner self very fast.

I meditate by relaxing my body, sitting upright and chanting "Om." Om, or Omkara as Hindu Mythology puts it, is a very powerful word. When we chant Om, it touches and invokes all of our body chakras. Once that is done, we move to a high energy state and start sending out positive vibrations. It clears our mind and connects us to our inner self.

Our inner self has all the knowledge in the world. It is the common thread that runs through every being, and connects us with the Universe. It has all the Answers, and is always trying to tell it to us. But we hardly ever listen, as we are caught up with the outer Conscious and physical world.

Meditation opens the door to our inner self, and our inner wisdom flows to us and fill us when we really tune in to ourselves and listen. Whatever the question be - our purpose in life, the next career change, a relationship issue - the answer is right within you. And meditation is your doorway to find it.

In my next blog, I will share one of the answers I got through a meditation session.

Please leave your thoughts in comments!

Peace,

Gayathri.
